Graduated driver's license? What is that?
The advantage of the graduated driving license is that you only have to take the theoretical motorcycle test once, as the theory training is only carried out once for a motorcycle driving license.
After successfully passing the theory and practical test for a motorcycle driving license, you can obtain the next higher motorcycle driving license after two years without having to take another theory course and test. Only a few riding lessons are required to learn how to control the larger motorcycle.
The practical test includes the same elements as the normal driving test, including city driving, cross-country driving and highway driving. However, only four basic driving tasks have to be completed on the practice course: slow slalom, hazard braking, swerving with brakes and swerving without brakes.
Normally, the graduated driving license starts with the A1 class for mopeds with a maximum of 125 cc and 11 kW power. However, if you have already been in possession of the A2 class for 2 years, you can upgrade directly to the A class without power restrictions.
