In the case of a driver’s license extension (e.g. if you already have a category B), there are only 6 units of basic material plus 4 units of category-specific instruction.
Theoretical examination
The theory test can be taken at the earliest three months before the prescribed minimum age is reached. It is conducted electronically and is based on the multiple-choice method.
For the initial issue of a driving license, the test comprises 30 questions, with a maximum of 10 penalty points allowed. It is particularly important to note that if two questions are answered incorrectly and weighted with 5 penalty points (e.g. right of way questions), the test is failed.
As an expander, only 20 questions need to be answered, with 6 error points allowed.
The practical part
Practical training
During the practical part of the training, you will start with basic training through practice sessions. The exact number of these training hours is determined individually during the training, as every student learns differently.
